Privacy Policy — Orion Upload Pipe
Effective November 8, 2026.
What this tool is
Orion Upload Pipe is a private, single-user application used by one person — the owner of the YouTube channels it manages — to upload and manage his own videos through the YouTube Data API. It has no other users.
What data it accesses
With the owner's authorization (Google OAuth), the tool accesses the owner's own YouTube account only: channel information, and the ability to upload videos, set video details, manage playlists, and change video visibility on his own channels. It does not access any other person's account or data.
How the data is used
The access is used for one purpose only: publishing and managing the owner's own videos and playlists on his own channels. Nothing is collected for advertising, profiling, or analytics, and no data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
What is stored
The OAuth authorization tokens are stored only on the owner's own computer, in a private file, and are used solely to make the authorized API calls described above. Video files and descriptions pass through the YouTube Data API to YouTube's servers when the owner publishes them, as with any upload.
Revoking access
The owner can revoke this tool's access at any time from Google Account permissions, which immediately ends its ability to call the API.
